They are manipulating and controlling newsworthy events in order to maintain power and control over the public, and to swing public opinion.
And it is swinging. I guess they really believe that if/when they take Trump out, we'll just re-open the Border, the Treasury, give up God-given Rights and all White people will then become serfs in order to neutralize their "privilege". Control will be a piece of cake post-Trump.
