I mean, they never apply this same standard to themselves. EVER. But yeah, it's a "standard".

If someone says something bad that might be connected in some way with voting in your party.....thou shalt denounce it or you agree with them!!..........well. As long as you're Republican.

I'm not sure what this means. Richard Spencer is a fairly mainstream figure - supposedly advancing a rational vision of rejecting white guilt. FWIW, I don't find that message inherently troubling or offensive. But I'm not sure what to make of it when he shows up at a Nazi rally, essentially to be on their side. I suspect he's FOS, but I'm trying to find an alternate explanation. But yes, when you show up as the most prominent person of a movement to join in protest with a bunch of Nazis, I do expect some sort of distancing or denouncement if you are to retain any credibility.
