But you cannot say that it isn't groundbreaking and in that sense must be forever removed from the conversation of overrating...basically, there's nothing that compares to it. It is by itself.

I'll give the first and second season the ok. The makeup was better, seems like they tried harder and approached it with a better logic. Now all the dead are in long sleeves, long dresses and etc. Because they have gotten lazy. It suffers, May be budget restrictions but it has suffered.

Season one of TWD was good TV. Plodded through 2-3 and gave up. Absolute garbage. Jon Bernthal is the only person to ever be on that show with real talent.
