Are you still of the incorrect notion that Lee was 'respected' by the men who decided to publicly shame him by ruining his plantation? That's rich.

What about statues of racist men who fought to overthrow the law and order of the king to form a country which allowed slavery to exist?

Were they traitors to the US? Didn't think so.

Why are you okay with statues of Caesar?

He's not a traitor to America, nor is he a sign of racism.

How about Lincoln who was an absolute and devout racist?

He's not a sign of racism, however.

I've read grants Memoirs as well as countless other books on the subject written by the men who fought themselves. All hold lee in high regard. You are quite literally talking out of your arse.

What does that have to do with them being good/bad men? They were racist. They owned slaves. They formed a country built on slavery. They're bad men.

I've read Caesars memoirs as well. He was quite a racist against those who were seen as beneath Roman's. You should look up in his atrocities against the gauls and Germans etc. He was absolutely a racist. And we immortalize him.

Lincoln was a massive racist who went on record time and time again preaching how blacks are less developed and not of the samw caliber as whites.

Like I said. Your lack of historical knowledge is absolutely astounding.
