Fortunately, the "diverse" regions of the world have no written history, so no one can ever find out about the horrible things their "leaders" have done.

Unless of course, you just pick up a newspaper. Then, you can see it all happening today - slavery, rape and mutilation, cannibalism. Still going on every day, to this day.
