I do all my own maintenance. I'm no grease money but most things can be fixed at home with not a lot of tools. There are manuals and tons of videos on YouTube of every possible thing that can go wrong on a car.

I've replaced:

Water pump
Head gasket
Fuel pump
Brake pads/rotors/calipers
Radiator
Battery
Starter motor
Rotor bug
Charged A/C

I just realized yesterday I need to replace the lower radiator hose and it got me thinking how many thousands of dollars I've saved over the years by doing these myself.

I have done a lot of my own car work. My dad trained me in teen years.

I just decided couple days ago to learn electrician skills and issues and buy the equipment.

I am buying another house soon as i pick one. I will xxxxx well bring it up to speed myself.
