Unless it goes horribly horribly wrong (something like 2-10), then no.

That's really the only would you could make that judgement in year one. Even on the other end if he went like 11-1, one season of success isn't enough to say it was the right or wrong move.

So like I say, the only way you can make that call after 1 year is if it's just disastrously bad which isn't allowed at LSU.

I think anything more than 4 losses or less than 3 can be attributed to the coaching change.

I disagree a bit. 11-1 would be pretty damn impressive with this team and would basically prove that O was the right hire.

A season spectacularly bad or spectacularly good will say everything about O.
A middle of the road season just means we don't know yet.
