Agree to disagree. The only way I think that would work is if they were going with a "everybody dies and the world of men is no more" scenario. Then they could have the wall come down mid to late season 8 and they could do 2-3 episodes of everybody getting killed by the wights that pop up everyfrickenwhere. Wouldn't exactly be bittersweet though.

Agree to disagree, sure, but keep in mind all the main characters basically live in fortresses. I think they'd be able to survive it somewhat, and I don't think the animals rising would be all that vicious save for bears and wolves.

I think that the NK and his wights attacking a castle like they did Hardhome would overrun almost any of the Nrthern Castles (who all seem to be undermanned ATM. The NK could raise the freshly dead defenders if the initial battle didn't go his way and have tehm attack (presumably from within the keeps.......

Having all the dead of Westeros spring to life would result in a very quick demise of all living in Westeros, IMHO. Remember there are relatively few trained knights in terms of the total population. Most people are peasants, surfs or farmers and would run shrieking from an advancing zombie.
