Unless they're hanging kids at the school I don't think anyone up there knows what it's like to see their descendent lynched.

Regardless, I highly doubt anyone alive today (apart from some extremely unique circumstances) can say that they've either seen their ancestor hung or can identify one of their ancestors in a photograph of them being hung. These odds are even less in Oregon.
