I think you Saints fans misunderstand the average Atlanta fan. That game sucked arse, but we're so used to disappointment that it didn't affect us like it would another fanbase. Between the Barves, Failcons and Hawks, it didn't take long to get over. We've mastered disappointment...Unfortunately.
I actually think the Camthers loss the year earlier was more crushing, in they're not used to being perennially disappointed.
