There are 7 airports in MS that still have commercial service. Listed here from greatest to least amount of boardings-

Jackson (JAN)

Gulfport/Biloxi (GPT)

Columbus/Starkville/West Point (GTR)

Hattiesburg/Laurel (PIB)

Meridian (MEI)

Tupelo (TUP)

Greenville (GLH)

Also-

Tunica (UTM) receives casino charters.

I've flown out of GPT instead of MSY a few times. It's only about 25 miles and maybe 15 minutes further away. Unless it's a foggy morning on the Causeway. Then it's faster to get to than MSY.
