Seems like the competitive school district and proximity to major employers in Baton Rouge will keep area homes desirable. Those "apartment dwellers" probably moved there for the schools just like a lot of other people.

Zachary didn't have as quite as much of an issue with flooding as Denham Springs either.

I also don't think nearby West Feliciana will suddenly embrace development. Pointe Coupee will never have good schools. For the north side, Zachary is pretty much the best choice for the foreseeable future.
