re: When did people stop caring about their appearance and why?

Honestly, I couldn't care less what people choose to wear on a daily basis.

However, what really irks me is when I go out for a nice dinner with the wife and people are wearing flip flops and fishing shirts. We went out for my birthday last week, and it amazes me how people dress to go to a nice restaurant. I feel like part of the experience of a nice meal is getting dressed up and making it special.
