Pretty much says all you need to know about giving a shite about this poll and the opinions of those polled. And it may well be representative of the public at large, I have no idea.
The North Koreans have ratcheted up their weapons program, not down. No one in the know refutes this. We have attempted policies of "containment" through negotiation and concession for decades and across the span of multiple presidents from both parties. That has led to the situation we are in now, which is North Korean possessing nuclear weapons, ever advancing ICBM technology that in time will inevitably be able to reach the continental United States, and they are now on the imminent brink of minituarization to stick a warhead on those ICBM's. Yet 60% think Kim Jong Un is going to suddenly negotiate and throw these advancements to the wayside? That's simply absurd beyond comprehension.
Whether it warrants military action or not is up to personal philosophy, but we aren't containing the nuclear weapons program without it. That ship has sailed. You either accept a nuclear armed and ICBM equipped North Korea and come what may, or you use military action preemptively prior to this capability. But at this point there is absolutely zero incentive for them to shut down their program. And every previous administration and serious presidential candidate I can think of unequivocally said that North Korea could not be permitted nuclear weapons and long range missiles. So if anything, this poll shows the irrationality of the typical American in respect to this issue, or a monstrous invalidity in the interpretations that can or should be drawn from this poll.

Polls are a very important part of the Coup.
To pull of the Coup, there needs to be some made up shite that it is the will of he people.
That's where made up polls come in.
