Well keep in mind that the threshold for anyone to GAF is 5k-10k. Anything under that, they'll smile at you, watch you walk away and then laugh their arse off at you. There are so many instances of fraud and theft that the cops literally DGAF about it b/c of the frequency.
In this case, my dad closed his account and wouldn't you know - they used the card AGAIN at the same Best Buy

I hear you but whether 500 dollars or 10 grand the theft operation is underway. I am lucky this was a secondary account. Nowadays why would anyone keep a large sum of money in a checking account, there is no interest to be made.
The complete theft operation just shocked me and I was not aware they started making fake cards with your acct. number. It is shocking.
