Does Acosta understand the press briefings aren't meant to be pulpits to spread a worldview?

That was one of the most unprofessional things I have ever seen from a WH reporter in my life.

Nothing Trump could do or say could make the press look worse

and I call bullshite on the theory that most reporters are just trying to do their job

He knows that and he doesn't care.

He straight up melted down when the briefings were off camera and you saw why that was today. He wants to make a scene to raise his profile and the James Brady Press briefing room is the best place to do that.

It reminded me of when Nixon asked Dan Rather if he was running for president after Rather editorialized during a "question."

I have never understood why Rather's retort, "no Mr. President, are you?" was considered some sort of gotcha moment.
