Then the next question I would have is are you a heavy drinker? Did you drink the night before the test? Also, what is your BMI, and have you been tested for type 2 diabetes?

I do drink but not heavily. Mainly on weekends or 2-3 beers throughout the week. Maybe once or twice a month heavily. I haven't been tested for diabetes but a portion on my lab screen (can't remember which acronym) said that I was below the pre-diabetic range.
