Not sure why staff changes need to be made and the scapegoat for a poor season.
right now LSU needs to stabilize their program and the only way is for coach O to succeed
LSU has been unstable the promotion from within rarely works but in this case hiring coach O was a smart move when the two home run hires Jimbo and Herman refused LSU offers.
I disagree and coach O should be held responsible for the season and not the assistants
1 comment about this program and it success under Miles
LSU's program during the Miles era and the wins are more attributed to great players rather than great coaching.
Coach O is playing with Miles recruit and he has to maintain the high recruiting level and coach this team at a much higher level than Miles.
On paper the 2018 recruiting class looks like we need some highly ranked kids to climb on board and they may be waiting for the season to unfold and watch the new team.
A poor season with 4 or 5 loses will follow with a poor recruiting class
A good season with 0 to 2 loses will solidify LSU and stabilize our program and all these negative threads just need to stop.
