How have they not stocked away enough cash to last a literal lifetime after being the only grocery store in Denham for 9 months?

Maybe they did, and now that competition is here, they are getting out with their cash?

That building has been several grocery stores and they don't seem to last. I blame location... and a walmart being a stone's throw away.

It's funny that Rouse's is so popular now. They had one in denham back in the day and it shut down because no one shopped there. They tore down the building and built a CVS there, but it was in the same parking lot across from Mr Gatti's.

When a huge Albertsons in Ruston closed, James Davidson bought it for near to nothing and "sold" it to the city. They turned it into a really nice library with meeting rooms. Mr. Davidson basically donated it to them.
