Have flat feet, can't make time on your 1.5 mile run, poor eye sight, good luck passing the basic qualifications to serve. This bull shite notion of transgender or even female participation in the military is pure social engineering derived by the left. It only harms our armed forces and ability to perform its duty. Those elected officials supporting such actions are a detriment to our country.

Nope, it's not about what's best for the military, it's about your "right" to serve.

I was obsessed with the Air Force growing up. People always told me that I needed near perfect vision to fly - and I'm nearly blind.

Most of the transgender people I have worked with have Borderline Personality Disorder. One guy was psychotic, and his gender confusion was more of a delusion. There are probably some who are higher functioning and don't meet criteria for a diagnosis, but many of them probably still have traits of BPD and a history of depression. All of the transgender folks I have worked with have had histories of abuse and very unstable relationships.

Two main considerations: what is the risk/cost of the person serving in the capacity at issue? Are the standards being lowered? If the answer to the latter is "no," nobody should have any problem with letter Trans people serve if the cost/risk of them serving is no more than any other condition with which people are allowed to serve.

And rank bigotry should not be considered a worthwhile cost/risk.

I couldn't serve because of bad ear drums.

Should I sue?

Pretend you have a condition you don't, get draft deferment, get elected President...

You know, stuff.

Right. It's like shouting we must have equality in the NFL or NBA or any professional sport. It makes absolutely zero sense and everyone knows it.

you dont even understand that youre making the argument FOR transexuals in the military, do you? or that the left are the ones taking social engineering OUT of this equation and the right are the ones putting it IN.

you think people should pass basic qualifications to serve, no matter the job, pass or fail, its that simple, yes or no.

and what if a transgender passes those qualifications?

do they get the job, yes or no?

or do you want to deny them with your social engineering that dictates who is given a certain job?

what if a trans person is the BEST candidate for a job? do they get it, yes or no?

thats what you want isnt it, for the "best" people to get the job theyre suited for, without regard to any outside factors such as if theyre white or male or catholic or anything like that, right?

The military requires certain physical and mental characteristics as it's ultimately about protecting our country. Whether its all out war, small conflicts, fighting terror, or protecting our shores, a military man or woman needs to be mentally stable, physically fit to some degree, and have some fight in them. Its not some desk job to occupy a cubicle until you retire. I wouldn't expect a fitness company to hire overweight people just to be fair. I wouldn't expect a construction company hiring labor for heavy lifting to hire an average woman due to physical limitations. It's not to shame or discriminate, its because its facts and life. There is a certain need and fit for the military and unfortunately everyone doesn't qualify.

The Left and their useful idiot Democrats are willing to take heavy human casualties for their causes, just so long as it's the plebians that are doing all of the suffering and dying.
