Both team's recent history? You mean the beat down Lsu put on Louisville? Or the other several beat down they put on teams better than byu? I think the line will stay around 14-15

BYU's record was 9-4 last year. Not great but it's not terrible.

Here are the records of the teams that LSU beat after the coaching change.

Missouri: 4-8
Southern Miss.: 7-6
Old Miss.: 5-7
Arkansas: 7-6
A&M: 8-5
Louisville: 9-4

What teams, other than perhaps Louisville, are better than BYU in you opinion. Because I don't see any of those teams giving BYU a beat down on a regular basis.

The line is all about public perception. Of coarse we LSU fans are confident. We have the talent and our team's weakest link (offense) is being addressed very well. However, from the outside looking in... we have a new and not so impressive HC coaching a team that lost more elite talent in the draft than most power five teams take over a decade to produce.
