If you go back and look at some of his better moments/games Etling really isn't a bad QB. He has good not great velocity, but better than Canada's last QB. He moves very well in the pocket which I think is key to a great QB and he has decent mobility. If he can be more consistent (which I think was due to his injury) then he will be a top 5 QB in the SEC IMO.

This is what we've all been clamoring for, a good not necessarily great QB. He's smart, crafty, tough, and can be slippery. With the offense being at a faster pace meaning that it's setup to get people in open spaces quickly, our OL should perform better. They won't have to hold for so long on every play. The scheme should also slow the opposing defense down just enough to allow them to take advantage.

The scheme itself should help build cohesiveness within the offense, build confidence which helps create better coordination throughout. This thing can really get going in the right direction and if it does it will be hard to stop.

We can just run different personnel in and out keeping everyone happy creating a positive atmosphere amongst the players. This can make an offense go so they play at a really high level. We'll see what happens but I think Etling is the clear leader, perfect QB to get this offense going. GT

Yeah anyone thinking Brennen can come in here and out perform Etling is kidding themselves. Now if he can digest this offense or at least pieces they can bring him in blowouts 4th quarter to get some playing time and be ready for next year. I can definitely see that happening if they think he's ready for it.

Narcise is going to RS which is probably his best bet at this point. Let his knees heal up build strength slowly and he can come in next year for clean up roll or packages if he's ready to go by then. We sitting in a much better position at QB then we have in years, thank the good lord.

We need to keep bringing in the best QBs we can find though. Keep stacking them up is the best way to find that one who is perfect for LSU. Really like that JC QB we were looking at a few weeks ago. Never know who might be that guy we've been waiting for.
