Percentage or number of Trannys in the military?

Anyone know? Are we talking like 100, 1000, 10,000 people? I refuse to believe that the US military has a disproportionate number of half men/ half women soldiers as compared to the minuscule amount with this mental deficiency in the civilian world.

It's enough where it shouldn't be an issue at all. I told one of my friends that I doubted it was in the triple digits, and he told me they just reported that there are 1500 of them, which really shocked me. I would think that would have to be total living trans people in the military, not the number in active duty.

people are throwing out a number of 4200 which I think is complete bs. Even then that number is tiny and this shouldn't even be a national issue.

I'm not quite sure where people are getting their numbers. In some threads posters are saying 4,000 based on the 0.3% of the population being trans. But that doesn't makes sense as there are 2.2-2.4 million soldiers on active and reserve duty, which puts the number of trans at 6k-8k. So, the 4K low balls the number of trans people if you do a general population to military comparison--which is really stoopid.

Since it has only been in effect a few months multiply the percentage by the number of people joining in those months.

.03 percent of the population so there can not be that many. I would say less 1000 in total across all branches and that still may be too high.

Served 8 years, went all over the US on different training ops, went to Iraq a few times and saw other units from other bases across the US. Not 1 tranny was seen, did see a small number of gays. No trannys

I've been in the Air Force for a decade and have never seen one.
Gays? Sure.
Trannies? No.
FWIW, I don't have a problem with gays being in the military.

I just stuck my head in the barracks and yelled down the squad bay to ask whether we had any trannies in our platoon. None of the forty in the squad bay answered affirmatively.

Numbers of transgenders in the Military? Let's just check the most recent, certified data-base and get that answer.

OK then, let's just extrapolate from some meaningless statistical generalization about the entire human population and throw in, oh I dunno, about a frick-ton of stupid assumptions -like the Military exactly mirrors the general population anyway- and then publish that as gospel. (funny how no one can seem to agree on a number, though).
Or, we could just make shite up...

I spent 9 years in the military and came across 1 gay dude. that was it.
