Not saying I like Sessions, but he had to recuse himself. Independence is paramount for prosecution. He's responsible for prosecuting / not prosecuting crimes that don't provide a conflict of interest.

He should have told them to get bent because there was no conflict of interest because the whole Russian collusion story is bull shite.

It's amazing that Trump and his supporters don't see this. Shady mofos.
