He may be right about Sessions but he should handle it privately face to face.

I mean, he's not right about Sessions though.
Accepting for a moment that he didn't know of the recusal ahead of time (which is very likely false), Sessions' contribution to the Trump philosophy (nationalism, populist bent) that ultimately won Trump the election can't be overstated.
It's just completely absurd to act like Sessions was a hanger-on to Trump's popularity when Trump's own words and actions totally undermine that position.
I say all that as someone who would like to see Sessions gone as AG.
