Looking for info to fish rigs in black bay and bay eloi just need some info/what to look for:
what is the best depth?
how far from the rig to start fishing?
attach to the rig and throw out or fish to the rig?
carolina rig/sliding cork?
TIA

We always used sliding corks set at 8ft.
We would depth find them first and fish that side. Throwing on top the legs to about 20 feet off

We mostly Carolina Rig at the rigs. Maybe a cork a few feet down. New rigs we troll around and cast, familiar rigs we used to drop anchor, now we use the ipilot. You may want to be on any side of the rig. You don't see many people tie off.
