Does anyone expect this to go down this year with a hoss like Guice at Canada's disposal? Not talking forever, but this particular year? If anything I'd think LSU might be 65/35 run.

He had a pretty nice running back at Pittsburgh last year, too. Connors probably is not Guice level, but he was still a third round draft pick.

I fully expect it to be in the mid-60's.

In fact, the better the offense does on 1st downs the higher the run:pass ratio is what I expect.

IF that comes to fruition, you'll see a much better offense running the ball more and throwing out of need less.

And then there's Canada's belief/system/promise to identify talent and use them. Connor is a beast. He used him (pass & run) extensively. No way he doesn't do the same or more with Guice.
