Ok so if we get to 2023 and their next deal is worth less than 4 billion you'll agree it was a bad move?

No. How can it be a bad move when they specifically laid out that contractually they cannot even consider it?

Not necessarily. Getting 3b while keeping more control of the league would probably be favorable to what was proposed in this deal.
And there's nothing stopping them from making this same proposal 5 years from now.
