Are you looking for a pad like that or do you just want to car camp in the woods?
Both are options at this point. The others in our group have expressed the desire for a toilet and running water though.

Lots of spots on the forest service roads in that area that are a little more secluded
Any secluded places in particular that you can recommend?

You could always look at backpacking a section on the Appalachian trail. Hike in a few miles set up camp and hike back out to the car. However, there will be no running water or toilets.

I cant help you with the spots like mentioned in the OP, but there are some private sites around and on some kayak/tube rental spots that might be more fun.

For sure, check out the three forks area, it has a nice river along the road and its seems to be cooler around there in the heat.
But really any of the forest service roads, you can drive until you find a spot that looks nice. Lots of camp spots.
how many people are you bringing? if you need a bigger spot I can point out a few bigger clearings. But most can fit 1-2 cars easily.
pretty much most of those roads you see on the map from your site to suches to amicalola are all gravel roads with camp sites along them.
