I think Tiger is the greatest golfer of all time. I know you can't compare eras, but if you give Tiger and Jack the same equipment in their prime I think Tiger wins for a few reasons.
1. One of the greatest assets for both was their intimidation factor. Neither would be scared of each other.
2. Tiger crushed everybody. He never lost leads. Literally never for years. He was the best driver, scrambler, and putter on tour.
3. The tour had way, way more depth in Tigers day than Jack's. Jack played with many of the games greats, but there wasn't more than 10 guys that could win tournaments then where as today almost everyone in the field has a legit chance at winning.
Admittedly Tiger is during my time so I didn't get to watch Jack play. I just don't know how anybody could ever beat Tiger when he was on top of his game during the early 2000s. What he did was just unreal.
On a side note, if it's not for Tiger, Phil is maybe a top 3 player all time. He has 40 something wins anyway. If he could have played without Tiger in the field I think he would have 75+ wins and close to Jack in majors, 10+ easily.

Those who underrate Phil miss just how deep his major resume is. Only Javk has more 2nds. Only Jack and Tiger have more total top 3s
