I pray for a day when non -Establishment, non - lawyers , are regularly getting elected. Just quality Americans who have mastered their little part of the world . Veterinarians, small businessmen, clergy, etc. That's who The Founders devised it for, and left the Constitution behind for as a guide.

One of our Louisiana congressmen, Ralph Abraham is an M.D. and a veterinarian, plus is a licensed pilot. Frankly, I'm pretty impressed.
