Needing help with a new gas pressure washer. This will be used mostly around the house. Would like to stay around the $250-300 range. Thanks OB

No idea how much you pressure wash but may want to consider an electric version. We have one and it works well. Admittedly we don't have much to pressure wash though

The one they have at costco looks like a good one for 300. I haven't tried it though.

I bought a Generac at Home Depot for like $250, and have used it about 3 times in 2 years. No issues.

Tons of people buy them at Home Depot and lowes for a weekend and then return them, they almost always have 2-3 returns for sale. So you can get them for pretty good deals there usually.

I guess everybody has different needs, but I'm not going to purchase something that I used once a year. I have to pay full price as well as maintain the thing, when it would be much easier to just go rent one no more than I use it

I have a Honda pressure washer, tiller, and lawnmower. I don't think you can go wrong with a product that comes with a Honda engine.

I bought a Honda BlackMax gasoline pressure washer powered by the Honda GC190 engine 4 years ago at Sam's club. It starts easily every time and works great.

I do run the carb dry of gas EVERY time I use it, just like I do with my Honda generator with the GX390. Love both of them.

I do recommend replacing the hard plasic hose that comes with all pressure washers with a better, much more flexible hose immediately. You will be very glad that you did!

When my last gas powered pressure washer died I replaced it with a Ryobi electric model. I have wood decking/fencing, brick and concrete walkways, house siding, it does an excellent job on all of it, every bit as good as the gas powered, but never needs gas, always starts, and it is quiet, the neighbors and myself love that part.

I ended up getting the Ryobi with the Honda engine for $299 at HD. Put it through the test today. Worked flawlessly. Hope it last. Thanks for the info guys.
