I couldn't even imagine doing my statistical work without knowing calculus.
In fact, matrix algebra would probably be more useful than calculus if I had to write something specific.

I think we have digressed off topic,
The OP was about algebra being racist, while the author made mention of statistics.
My point was laughing that if your math skills were lower than algebra...
