I don't understand why he wants to sell them all as bulls. At least half or more should've been cut. He insisted on keeping them intact. They were pretty much dropped off to me and said make sure they grow.

What's your relationship here with the owner whose idea this was? I'd get out of that situation by quitting or otherwise make some hardline demands real quick. You sound like you are in a heap of trouble unless the owner has a blank checkbook for buying feed this winter?
