Was just there a few weeks ago. Spent a lot of time in the mountains, but was in the city for two nights. Made the mistake of going to the 16th street mall...it was a shite show. Comic-con was in town too.

You did it the right way in my opinion. Denver is an average city at best and the Rockies are right there
