The women really thought it was their turn - the blacks got a president, the gays got their marriage, and now it's time for a woman president.

Killary was simply the highest profile female politician. They didn't particularly like her, but she was in the right place at the right time so they convinced themselves that she was the female equivalent of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and MLK all rolled into one. They would've thought the exact same (and likewise supported) Eva Braun had she been in Hilldogs place.

They were desperate for their hero and were desperate for a set of ovaries in the Oval Office. I'm still shocked that anyone was able to beat them.
