This is something that a friend in the industry told me was going to happen awhile back. I always wondered how this would affect driving hours and logs.

The data collection for this could be huge for logistics companies. We could be at a time where deadheading is a thing of the past.

Couple autonomous trucks with E-logs and HOS laws will be a thing of the past.
