It's very simple, kapernick has made himself a complete distraction. That's ok if you're good, but kap is not worth the trouble.

This. Nothing more, nothing less. He's going to bring a Tebow-esque media circus wherever he goes and he's not nearly good enough to put up with that.

Exactly

Being a major distraction is much more tolerable when that player is Randy Moss compared to a backup QB who might not even see the field who is much easier to replace

This is it. He made it about more than football. When you do that, it's not reasonable to evaluation the situation based purely on football.
