I think the House and Senate plans should be combined.

quote:

The Senate's current version of the NDAA seems to agree. Rather than creating an entirely new military branch, the Senate bill would create a new Chief Information Warfare Officer (CIWO) in the Defense Department to oversee "cybersecurity and cyber warfare, space and space launch systems, electronic warfare, and the electromagnetic spectrum."

A new branch that is responsible for all of the above missions, as opposed to a branch solely for space and all of the other branches half assingthe other high-tech missions. I'd also throw out nuclear mission in there, make the Air Force and Army national guard functions and increase the size of the Navy. My plan would have two large branches. The Navy(and Marines) and the "Strategic" force, which would handle space, cyber, nuclear.

This is pretty stupid even for a jarhead.

Typical Marine, that chip on the shoulder is soooo evident.

Now let's get back to letting the Army handle our Nation's defense and FOLLOW ME!

Marines are the appendix of the armed forces.
