Until Canada proves otherwise, I will continue to believe that he is going to have our stable of QBs much more ready than the previous regime.

So what's the absolute worst that can happen? I am speaking under the hypothesis that Etling will again be the starter. So, if Etling doesn't get the new scheme down or if he just isn't improved at all after the back surgery... what, we get to break in Brennan a bit earlier than expected?

But the Brennan statement is again based on hypothesis, that he continues to gain weight and build strength as reported- and also the hypothesis that although Narcisse passes the eye test for an SEC caliber QB, it's completely undeniable that his lower half is two years underdeveloped, so it's less likely for Narcisse to get the nod over Brennan in a worst-case-scenario this season.
