Besides quarterback, what position are you most concerned with and why?

Offensive line because if that unit isn't good, our season will surely go to shite.

Obviously LB and WR. Not necessarily "concerned" with the receiving corp but its still unknown group relatively. The LB group with Key having that injury, while im not concerned about him, hes an animal, would like him to be full go to help the new young guys and show/teach them the complexities of Aranda.

For me it would be CB. May not be a popular opinion, but both Donte Jackson and Kelvin Tolivee struggled at times this year. And we will be counting on them to be #1 and 2. I think they will grow this summer and become a pretty good duo under Coach Raymond, but I still have my worries.

OT. Returning both starters but they weren't very good last season

Linebacker. We are really short on depth in this department and any injury could be brutal.

Actually not worried about QB! I think we will be fine there. I think this freshmen class is going to surprise a lot of people and we will quickly see how good they are and what this team will be for years to come!

offensive line...always. cause you can NEVER have enough depth
wide receiver next....just not enough experience i fear to make #16 look as good as he needs to

in order of concern
OL (until we field a consistent, fundamentally sound unit, this will always be at the top of my list)
MLB (depth combined with inexperience)
Safety (not sold on Battle and Paris, but at least we have lots of talent there)
OLB (if Key's injury is nagging this could turn into a weak spot, quick)
RB (behind Guice.......)
CB (not very concerned - I think KTII will be much improved, DJ should do well in most situations.. Fulton is going to be good)
WR (not much experience, but Davis, Anderson, Sullivan, Chark, and Gage make up a corps that most teams would love to have)

Etling's back is a huge issue. Back issues or not, he must stay healthy for LSU to have a successful year. I think he will play well, if we can keep him upright.
We are thin at OT and IL as well.

But injuries aside, Id go with the OT's being the most concerning.

RB. If Guice goes down it will get ugly.

Backup QB. Without him the rant would have nothing to discuss.

OL no proven depth and lacking dominant tackles. 1 or 2 injuries and it could be a tough year

Offensive line, followed closely by the offensive line. After that defensive line.

not concerned about quarterback. We have an experienced senior with leadership and character. I am most concerned about linebackers

Defensive line.

A great DL is the key to a great defense. If your DL is bad, them every level behind then gets progressively worse by default.

The situation with Key just continues to be strange. His projected timeline for playing this season seems to get pushed back further and further

The effectiveness of the interior DL rests on how big of a jump Lawrence and Alexander have made from year one to year two, and whether some of the young guys can step up. I'm sorry, but I just can't put much faith in Gilmore/Herron performing. They have been here for 4 years, at a time when LSU has been desperate for impact DT's and they've never been anything more than just spot role players.
