But it's still amateur screenwriting to the max. Going down defending the single most boring character possibly ever put onto a TV show? At least have him going down defending Dany. This is fricking screenwriting 101. D&D should be above writing such shite.

Ummm, I think that the later is actually the case. They're largely teenagers and people in their 20s avenging their dead fathers after Dany crucified them.
