Tiger Ree alter or long lost relative?

LSU has 4 SR's on the DL and Lawrence and Alexander that played as backups last year as true FR's. Then you have Logan and apparently I. Washington( he has played a bit) has been moved there. Four incoming true FR. I haven't seen this transformation, but hope springs eternal.

A little bit of what Dandy's site had to say on the D-Line in the 2017 LSU Tigers – Preview by Position Group.

Hopefully Tyler Shelvin will qualify and be able to get a little experience this year.

Defensive Line
You can make an argument that LSU’s 2017 defensive line will be the most experienced unit on the team. Greg Gilmore, Ed Alexander, Rashard Lawrence, Frank Herron, Deondre Clark and Christian LaCouture enter this season with valuable playing time under their belts. Returning starter Gilmore will likely lead the charge at nose tackle again with the massive Alexander subbing in for him. At defensiveend this season, and here’s a reason to get excited, LaCouture will re-enter the mix following last year’s season-ending injury. On the opposite side of him will likely be Lawrence, who defensive coaches raved about all spring long.

I'd love to look.
Where should I go, because this thread didn't provide what I was hoping for.

I'm optimistic about the D-line for the first time in a while. However, there is more "potential" than proven results right now. Key is obviously a star, but aside from him there is a lot of "maybe" with the DL.
Lacoture, though not a gamebreaker, is a solid player
We've been waiting on Herron/Clark/Gilmore to live up to their recruiting rankings for 3-4 years. It's been a down last few years for the DL and none of these guys have ever been able to make much of an impact. Why is there reason to think "this is the year"?
The big question is how much have Lawrence/Alexander improved since last year? It's very tough to make a big impact as a freshman along the DL. If they have made the jump we all hope they have, then LSU could have a really good DL, which in turn would make up for some of the personnel losses in the LB/DB group. If not, things might be tough.
