Sturridge seems to think it was minor. He will be a super sub this season for a reason. Made Bayern look like chump change today, although it's just preseason. Can't wait for the premier league to start

Hope he can stay fit. He just showed what we know he does so well, which is to make scoring goals look so easy. I hope he has an absolute monster year.

If we can keep our attackers fit then we'll challenge for the league title, not a doubt in my mind.
