She's a leader of a world power, behaving like a school girl

I heard recently that Merkel has a fear of dogs. Putin knew this and one of the first meetings between the two of them, Putin brought his Black Lab.

During discussions about energy supplies at Putin's home in Sochi back in 2007, the Russian president called his black lab, Koni, into the room with Merkel. From The New Yorker (emphasis added):
