In late 2012 the mere thought that Russia was a significant geopolitical threat was LITERALLY laughed off as a joke by the sitting US President.

4 years later the Democrats lose the presidential election in embarrassing fashion and Russia suddenly becomes the biggest foreign threat to the US?
