You are correct on their color but you could not be more wrong about them in the skin. It's been well described in this thread already - there is nothing to kill in the skin except inflammation and itch. If you have mites actually burrowing into your skin then congrats on having scabies (a type of mange). See your doctor on this.

I never said they were in the skin (as embeded). I said look in the pore and you will see them, then plug them out/off (of the pore).
