Yea it should have been a non story, but the activist people in BR won't let that happen. They make everything racial

Right. Which is why I don't understand the hoopla. Calandro's employee fricked up, Calandro's admitted such and apologized. Why are people still hung up on this?

has caused a stir among some Calandro’s customers and raised allegations of racism against the 75-year-old neighborhood institution. The woman, Lani Gholston, is black.

Is it strange to you why someone would place groceries into a reusable bag (from a competitor store) when there are shopping carts and hand baskets at the front of the store for all to use?

It seems that she was trying to make a scene or she is just thoughtless putting the groceries that were never paid for into a personal bag.

While she may not have cried racism, her posse' certainly did with all the requests about why Calandro's doesn't take EBT or if they plan to going forward. The writer of the story certainly cited racism.
