It's a classic tactic of that group.
Cause businesses to spend extra money to right whatever grievance out of fear that they'll lose these people's business, then not patron those businesses after they fixed their expensive problem.
For some reason, these businesses can't help but bend the knee then end up being bent over the barrel anyway.

Tbh, I don't see them caving to them. They have too many people with money in that store in their ears.

The Willie's incident is a classic example.
Thankfully, they didn't knuckle under.
