I love how John Carpenter got the biggest self-promotion for a director in movie history in all his films. What a sweet deal he made with studios.
It's not Warner Bros or Paramount or 20th Century Fox's movie...screw them.
It's "John Carpenter's blankity-blank." His name is part of the title of all his movies.
And then Tyler Perry copied him...but his work in the opposite effect.
"John Carpenter's -----" you'd get all excited seeing the movie poster. Oh man, this is gonna be so good.
"Tyler Perry's -----" you'd turn away from the movie poster. Oh man, what a pile of shite.
